Following COVID-19, work habits have changed forever. From increased flexibility to lifelong learning – these changes are impacting everything from how we communicate to how we connect and create.
While habits have changed, businesses are yet to fully-adapt and embrace the new way of working. Of the 1.5 million job vacancies in the UK, only 11% are advertised as flexible. WorkYourWay was created to fill this gap.
WorkYourWay is the UK’s leading platform, matching 1000s of candidates with flexible jobs at some of the UK’s largest brands including Schroders; AXA; Deutsche Bank; VICE Media Group; Shelter; Harper Collins and Ofcom.
We started WorkYourWay because of a lack of transparency and a broken employment market.
Will, our co-founder, was forced to leave a job he loved to relocate to the north of England to be closer to family, and then spent 3+ hours a day commuting just to be in a workplace, leaving little time to be with the family he left a job to spend more time with.
Fed up with commuting for hours, missing key life moments and having opportunities restricted by location, Will wanted to find a new job that fit around his needs, not the businesses. After struggling to find a job that offered the flexible working practices that Will was after, WorkYourWay was born.
Our goal is to help companies become the best version of themselves, give true visibility into all forms of flexibility and help future employees make the best decision about their futures. Nothing is more important in the job application process than honesty and transparency between companies and candidates.
WorkYourWay aims to provide a platform that meets the needs of all flexible workers, including students, parents, carers, people with disabilities, older workers, people with health issues and many other groups searching for new opportunities.
