Airbnb is a mission-driven company dedicated to helping create a world where anyone can belong anywhere. It takes a unified team committed to our core values to achieve this goal. Airbnb's various functions embody the company's innovative spirit and our fast-moving team is committed to leading as a 21st century company.
Airbnb’s public policy team exists to further the interests of our community of hosts and guests with politicians, regulators, opinion leaders and others who shape the political and legal context for our business, helping them to understand the significant social and economic contributions of our platform. Across the EMEA region, we are engaged in hundreds of local conversations and negotiations with governments big and small. We engage governments at local, regional and national levels directly and also use innovative advocacy and partnership strategies that actively involve our community and our stakeholders in making the case for fair, progressive home sharing rules.
The Role:
We are looking for a Public Policy and Campaign Operations Lead, EMEA to support our policy work and engagement in markets in EMEA. This role is a key member of the EMEA team, helping to shape and execute programmes to engage with policy stakeholders. The successful applicant will be working closely with other Campaign and Public Policy teams across EMEA, ensuring cross functional and EMEA wide projects are delivered. This role will report to the Director, Public Policy and Campaigns, EMEA.
In this role you will be highly skilled in both Management consultancy and Project management (definition of objectives, stakeholders coordination, execution and KPI measurement), data analysis and stakeholders management.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about Airbnb’s mission, and have proven understanding of policy matters and previous track record in Management consultancy.
The preferred location of the role is Paris as the role is working alongside our EMEA Public Policy Director who is based in Paris, as well as our EMEA Regional Director but we will consider other EMEA locations. We support working from home, and the role holder will also need to do some travel to countries in EMEA also, and also sometimes to our global headquarters in San Francisco.
