Description:

At Atlassian, we are on a mission to help our customers compete and win in the modern, digital economy. We have built a billion-dollar, fast-growing software business with over 150,000 paying customers, hundreds of sales and implementation partners, and millions of users around the globe. Our culture is open, welcoming, collaborative, and passionately focussed on our customers' success.

Our Strategic Enterprise Account Management team builds and implements sales strategies. As part of this team, you will manage some of our largest enterprise customers, increasing their use of our products. At the same time, we want you to be an advocate for our customers, providing feedback to our product and engineering teams, and helping us improve our customer experience. You will lead a territory comprised of named accounts and a geographic region, frequently working arm-in-arm with partners. You'll do all of this in tight coordination with our Channel Partners, Product Specialists, and Marketing organisation.

Your future team

As a Strategic Enterprise Account Director you will report to our Regional Sales Director, UK & Nordics. You will join an experienced team, with backgrounds in both well-established Fortune 500 companies and exciting startups. The team share a desire to hit numbers, but above all believe in the Atlassian values, and use them as a compass to refine and improve our non-traditional sales model.

What you'll do

  • Create a clear vision for your territory
  • Communicate on funnel/account/territory status, resource requirements, challenges, and successes
  • Partner, partner, partner - amazing accomplishments are the result of great teamwork, and success at the enterprise level "takes a community"
  • You will work with our channel managers and also directly with Atlassian partners, which range from the world's largest IT service providers, to other sales and service firms of all shapes and sizes
  • You will also collaborate with other teams, including Solution Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Product Management and Support
  • "Be the change you seek" and demonstrate unselfish leadership, while helping Atlassian to improve our ability to better serve our marketplace
  • Never, ever &@%# the customer

Your background

  • At least 10 years of enterprise sales experience at software companies focused on digital transformation, PPM, ERP, BI or similar enterprise solutions
  • Record of over-plan sales achievement
  • A history of working well in multi-channel, multi-product firms, where internal and external bridge-building and partnering is an essential quality
  • Excellent business insight! Understanding of how to position and sell value, and calculate return on investment
  • You aim to be the best, but your ego is fully in check
  • You aren't satisfied until your customers are enthusiastic references

Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

This non-traditional field sales role can be based remotely anywhere in the UK.
