Senior Distribution Manager – Salary ranging from £50,000 - £65,000
Location: Home based, however travel to develop relationships is required with London a primary location.
Aviva are currently looking for a Senior Distribution Manager to join the business on a permanent basis.
The Distribution Lead, and team, are responsible for managing the distribution of Aviva’s products across chosen intermediaries and affinity partners operating in the UK General Insurance Personal Lines Market.
These are highly visible roles in a busy, fast-paced environment. In addition to external engagement with intermediaries and affinity partners, critical to this role is internal engagement with a broad range of business areas, and co-ordination of virtual teams to manage the relationships
A bit about the job:
Relationship management, responsible for profitable growth from the existing portfolio and identifying new business opportunities for aligned intermediary/affinity relationship(s) aligning to the Personal Lines and Commercial Line Strategy
Ensuring regulatory oversight of aligned relationships
Manage relationships to contractual terms
To be the external face of Aviva to the market and our intermediaries/affinity partners
To represent our intermediaries/affinity partners and customers internally to ensure great customer outcomes
Skills & Experience:
Depth of knowledge and understanding of UK general insurance business including personal lines and commercial lines operating models
Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate at all levels – internally and externally
Strong analysis and interpretation of management and financial information
Strong leadership skills – ability to build, inspire and motivate teams in a busy environment and virtual network. Ability to lead informal and virtual teams without formal line management accountability
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive business relationships
