Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic ICT Support Analyst with great people skills to join our team and support Blood Cancer UK’s agile environment. You will join a team whose key role is to ensure that the organisation has tools fit for purpose to carry out our vital work.  We support colleagues to work and communicate effectively, providing the tools and infrastructure to enable the organisation to realise their ambitions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Providing technical support to over 100 staff members and help to develop their ICT knowledge.
  • Managing all on and off boarding and running induction sessions for new users
  • Training new users and assisting with their use of the Office 365 tools (including Teams and OneDrive) and the cloud based telephone system
  • Managing requests coming into the team via email, Teams and the phone and ensuring that the teams’ SLAs are met
  • Maintains user guides and ICT process documentation

  • We’re all fundraisers. This is slightly different for all roles, and your team will have fundraising KPIs and objectives we all work to
  • Attend and assist at Blood Cancer UK events and activities as required (NB this involves evening and weekend work)
  • Be an effective ambassador for Blood Cancer UK at any activity you attend
  • All staff are expected to adhere to Blood Cancer UK’s policies and procedures
  • Do any other reasonable things your manager needs you to do

Skills knowledge & expertise: 

  • Experience of providing remote support within a 1st/2nd line support function.
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a team-oriented, open, collaborative environment.
  •  Hands on, flexible and pro-active approach, with a willingness to learn and research
  •  Ability to work on your own initiative.
  •  Experience of managing relationships with 3rd party vendors both for hardware and SaaS
  •  Monitoring systems' performance, historical trends and projections, taking proactive action as appropriate.
  •  Knowledge of information security best practice.
  • Administration of Microsoft 365 products and services.
  •  Experience with Microsoft Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Azure Active Directory.
  •  Have a focus on continuous improvement, in terms of our systems, services and yourself.
  •  Works collaboratively and shares information within and across The Technical Infrastructure & Data Team as well as wider organisation. 
  •  Builds and maintains good working relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit, commitment to the team and achievement of shared goals.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
