What is an "Operations Associate I"?

We have a career progression framework that includes Individual Contributor (IC) andPeople Manager (PM) tracks. IC1 is a junior Operations Associate, IC4 is senior and IC levels 2 and 3 cover that middle area.

As an Operations Associate you’ll be responsible for:

Supporting across many of out company processes, ensuring they happen effectively and efficiently

Scheduling interviews and handling candidate communications

Ensuring our office space is somewhere people love to go

Equipping our team with everything they need to thrive

Supporting our Culture Operations Associate II across company events

Bringing our company calendar to life

Requirements

You must have:1+ years of experience in an operations, HR or recruitment role

Unparalleled organisational skills

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent empathy and communication skills

Proven track record of identifying challenges, providing solutions and proactively implementing solutions

Self-awareness and humility – you know that honest feedback is how you grow, and you’re not afraid to ask for help

Let us know if you have (all of these are desirable, but none are required): 

Previously worked within a start-up

Experience designing or implementing internal policies

Used Workable, our Applicant Tracking System, before

This is a permanent full-time role. We cannot offer visa sponsorship and you must be able to work in the UK.

The Way We Work

How we're crafting ownership, belonging and structured flexibility

A team of around 50 that genuinely enjoy spending time together, with regular in person and remote events to foster connection

9 day fortnights; for the next 6 months we're trialling an adjusted work week, and 'deep-work Wednesdays' as our way of driving our effectiveness as a company, while improving both team performance and wellbeing

Hybrid-first approach; we optimise for office and remote working to be valued equally, and to be equally valuable

Live anywhere in the UK; we have 8 set days per year that we require the team to be together in our London office, but you have the flexibility to live anywhere in theUK

30 bookable "nomad working" days outside of the UK in any timezone each year

No fixed working hours; you take ownership over how you get your work done

An amazing office space in East London's pet-friendly Second Home, and membership access to their wider London, Lisbon and LA locations

Monthly “exploration days” when you can work on whatever across the company

Quarterly review cycles using our transparent career progression framework, and dedicated personal development time

Compensation Package

A benchmarked salary from £28,500 to £31,000 based on your level within our progression framework
