Description:

Our work focuses on supporting young people & adults who have complex needs & barriers, including those from hard-to-reach areas, low socio-economic backgrounds, SEND, and NEETs, focussing on their education, training, and employment journey.

We have ambitious growth plans and are opening a second site in Stoke-on-Trent in early 2023. We are looking to hire and want a caring, ambitious person to join the team and help to drive our expansion. 

The Role

  • Support the CEO & Business Development Executive with marketing, admin tasks, contracts, and documentation for bids and tenders
  • Support operating procedures, event and program planning and management, and other processes and projects
  • Research businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify new potential partners & collaborations
  • Prepare administration, presentations, and materials, including PowerPoint and sales displays
  • Support the design of new & exciting projects and programmes
  • Prepare documentation for potential sponsors and donators
  • Develop companies’ governance and policy
  • Support the implementation of strategies and opportunities across the organisation to promote growth and boost revenue.

*You will be expected to come to the office in Stoke once a week

Skills and experience required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Appetite for business growth and development
  • Desire to take on more responsibility within a small organisation
  • Confident communicator, over the telephone and in person
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Self-motivated and target driven

Location: Hanley, Stoke on Trent (ideally to live within 1 hour from Stoke on Trent) 

Job Type: Part time

Salary: £12.05 an hour

Hours: 14 hours per week (more hours available after 3-month probation period)

Start Date: 26th February 2022
