Description:

You will work within the Global Strategic Analytics (GSA) team implementing effective and efficient solutions for primarily the sales organisation. The team has an ongoing mandate to improve, enhance and support Deutsche Bank’s effort to meet regulatory expectations for controls, including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements as well as deliver insightful analytics on client risk for the sales and trading organisation.

You will be joining the Client Strats team to support the creation of a centre of excellence for data analysis and data curation. The team will provide global insightful information for sales, trading, and front office infrastructure partners on the firm’s Client risk portfolio. The team will operate on a global scale across all products, businesses, and regions that the Investment Bank (IB) and Corporate Bank (CB) operate in, with the models analysing millions of client enquiries every day.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing effective and efficient solutions on client risk metrics
  • Responsible for implementing solutions that are technically optimal for streamlining business workflows
  • Verifying accuracy and effectiveness of strategic data and identifying opportunities to simplify or reduce legacy solutions
  • Developing and supporting partnerships with teams across the Bank including with trading, operations, risk and the broader Strats community

Your skills and experience

  • Educated to University level or equivalent qualification/work experience in an appropriate computer science or engineering/scientific subject
  • Experience in delivering high-impact data analysis
  • Understanding the full lifecycle of data ingestion, transformation, access, presentation, and maintenance
  • Relevant technical experience with programmatic data analysis - such as Python Pandas, R, q/kdb, Statistical Analysis System (SAS)
  • Good understanding of trading products such as Rates, Credit and Foreign Exchange (FX), with the ability to solve complex business problems
