Description:

The Digital Product team is responsible for the future of our online stores, native apps, integrations and software. We are an agile, diverse team of creatives working to apply the company’s ethos, ‘Be a visionary’, to the Digital aspect of the business. We hope to establish a deeper connection with our consumers by crafting positive experiences for everyone in our community, big or small.

Are you our next Product Designer? The Product Designer role exists to help craft innovative, high-quality experiences that serve our customer needs, problems and opportunities across our digital products. You’ll be working with closely with our Product Managers and Product Insight teams to improve our customer journeys across all of our digital products. You will be conceptualising new ideas as well as progressively iterating existing interfaces, to ensure maximum usability and delight, backed up by research and data insight.

Above all of that though, you’ll be part of our culture – the most important aspect of any role within the Gymshark family. Complacency is the enemy, we work hard, we stay humble and we challenge the norm.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Owning and designing end-to-end flows and experiences across multiple products — crafting dynamic, engaging and desirable user experiences.
  • Presenting designs, concepts and prototypes to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines, including Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers and Analysts to oversee the user experience of a product from conception through to launch.
  • Providing guidance to engineers and ensure features are implemented and launched at the highest quality.
  • Ensuring a consistent brand look/feel on customer journeys alongside the wider product team.
  • Continuously improving our design processes, ensuring our team adheres to relevant processes and standards, but are also empowered to do their most creative work.
  • The effective prioritisation of tasks that help us tackle projects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional leadership to build healthy and effective working relationships, to increase collaboration and productivity.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

  • Expertise in design tools — Figma, Adobe Creative Suite as well as rapid prototyping and user testing tools.
  • A keen interest in design systems, building a connected ecosystem of design and interaction to drive consistency in our products.
  • A people-focused design mentality, and enjoy solving problems, big and small, glamorous and not, for all kinds of users.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of design trends, technologies and best practices, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • You’re able to empathise with users’ needs and challenges, seeing the world through their eyes and understanding their context.
  • You’re a fantastic team player and communicator. You have the ability and confidence to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions to team members.
  • You possess a growth mindset — eager to expand your skills and recognise the importance of setting aside the time and space to learn and grow.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.

CLOSING DATE: 30th May, 2023
