An exciting opportunity to join the fast-paced HarperCollins UK Children’s sales team, which will involve managing accounts directly, plus providing assistance to Group sales functions as well as the busy UK Trade Sales & International teams.
The role will require a high level of organisation and detail, as well as an ability to rapidly acquire a high level of competency on company systems and use of Microsoft Office applications. Most of all we’re looking for personable, bright candidate who can learn quickly and use their own initiative. The ideal candidate will ideally have a junior level of account management experience, or customer service experience as well as a love of children’s books, excellent communication skills and be able to think creatively and bring new ideas.
The role offers solid experience, including looking after some accounts directly. As well as being heavily customer-facing, the role will work across authors and brands from across the most exciting, bestselling authors and brands in the market, including David Walliams, Judith Kerr, David Baddiel & Paddington Bear.
Management of Key Accounts
Internal champion across brands and accounts to key stakeholders
Create internal and external PowerPoint, presentations, and Excel reports
Answer internal and customer queries quickly and effectively
Assist with author signings and signed stock
Liaise with the Field Sales team, Divisional Sales teams, Marketing, PR, Distribution and Editorial, Commercial Finance
Raise any required marketing PO’s
Skills & Experience

Keen interest in sales, and Children’s books
Experience in Sales, Administration or Customer Service desirable
