About the role
We have a number of opportunities for Research Directors who have significant experience within the education space whether you are a mixed methods lead or an evaluation specialist, we’d love to chat to you about our roles.
These roles have come about primarily due to business growth as we build on our strong reputation within the sectors and expand our evaluation offering.
As a Director within the team, you’ll be responsible for the delivery and leadership of key projects, leading teams, liaising with clients and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and profitably.

Currently, the vast majority of work in this sector is with public sector clients, including the Department for Education, with whom we have a long-term client relationship and ongoing repeat business. We are also proud to have repeatedly delivered the UKs largest social survey Graduate Outcomes with the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

You must have an impressive track record of creating winning bids and proposals, including presentations, pitches and client portfolios and your previous delivery or commissioning of work will ensure you have a clear understanding of working with the public sector and you’ll demonstrate substantial experience of leading and managing the development and implementation of research projects, including research design, execution and reporting.
Experience of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies is highly preferable.
We’re a people centred business and value our culture greatly, we look for people who share our Values and live by our Rules of the Game, showing strong people leadership skills with a desire to motivate teams and support development. As well as this we look for people who are highly collaborative and able to work effectively with other Directors both within our Education sector and other sectors to win and deliver work; this will mean excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate openly, honestly and frequently at all levels with all departments in the company.
