Project Manager, Pensions

This client facing role offers an excellent opportunity for working on a variety of client facing and internal strategy pensions projects. The successful candidate will join the existing Pensions Project Management Team which is made up of a Senior Project Manager and three Project Managers and will be responsible for managing client and/or internal projects autonomously. 

The role therefore would be suitable for someone currently working within the pensions environment who has experience in project management and evidence of successful project delivery.

We can consider applicants from the following locations, London, Manchester and Birmingham. 

Role and Responsibilities

Duties will vary from project to project, however typically these will include:

  • Client projects – managing the full project life cycle; set up, planning, managing/progress reporting to key stakeholders, control and project close
  • Financial Management – WIP management, preparation of fees/invoices, budget v actual
  • Project Management Development – sharing project management best practices/processes across Isio teams
  • Business Development – input into RFPs, pitches and proposals, building relationships within Isio and Premier and with existing clients in order to identify potential project management support opportunities
  • Internal projects/work – occasional management of key strategic internal projects and initiatives

Experience and Competencies Required     

  • A proven track record of successful delivery of projects and experience of client interaction within a Professional or Financial Services background
  • Prince 2 Qualification
  • Fluent in utilising MS Project
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously
  • Knowledge of Pensions would be advantageous, as would other relevant financial backgrounds.
