Description:

We are looking for a Progression Programmes Manager to help our Partners reach their potential through the efficient and effective delivery of progression programmes.

This role is pivotal to our ambitions to be Britain's best retail learning organisation and you will have responsibility for working with a brilliant team of progression specialists leading our volume progression programmes.

The team own the end to end creation of programmes including working with 3rd party suppliers to deliver apprenticeships to our diverse business.

What you’ll be doing?

Creating, delivering and embedding progression programmes ensuring that we have clear pathways to progression. 

Creating and owning the strategy, governance and measurement of all progression programmes.

Taking the outputs of the Partner priorities and the Purpose work to ensure programmes are strategically aligned and respond to the overall business need.

Managing relationships with external parties including government bodies and charities.

Assuring all learning, ensuring we have robust data to back up all decision making.

Leading a team of diverse and high performing Partners to manage progression programmes and role model inclusive leadership.

Collaborating with the Leadership strategy team to ensure alignment with progression programmes, overarching strategy and to foster supportive ways of working.

What you’ll have

Experience of leading teams to deliver innovative and inspiring programmes is essential.

You must have experience of working within progression and demonstrating commercial outcomes.

It is essential that as a people manager you have experience of leading a team in a way that gives them autonomy, empowers them to make decisions, stretches, challenges and motivates them. 

What else can you bring?

It is desirable that you have experience of working effectively within an evolving organisation and are able to simplify complexity for leadership audiences.

Being able to evidence the ability to interact with and influence senior stakeholders, the Personnel leadership team, the exec and cross-functional peers would be an advantage.
