We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Communications Manager to join our Group Tech & Digital function to help accelerate the Powered by Kingfisher 2.0 strategy through upweighting engagement across the function. This will include leading the communications workstream as part of the Group Tech multi-year transformation programme, which will see us evolve into a modern product organisation where decisions on tech will be made closer to the customers and become more value driven. This is a 12-month fixed term contract role that could be done full or part time and will be based from our London Paddington HQ, with hybrid working.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner and coach senior leaders within Tech & Digital on change communications and create comms assets to equip and enable them in their engagement role.
  • Leading the Group Tech and digital employee engagement plan which includes the Group Tech Transformation Programme communications strategy and approach to guide our colleagues through the change journey
  • Deliver all communications assets for the Group Tech transformation programme team, including narrative, core decks, immersion sessions etc
  • Partner with the change workstream to continue to enhance and manage the communications approach for the Group Tech transformation programme and review the change impact assessments
  • Work with Group colleague comms & engagement team, ensuring alignment to the companies brand, purpose, and tone of voice, to plan and develop messaging for wider group functions colleagues.

What experience you’ll bring:

  • Change communications experience as part of a large transformation programme which has resulted in new ways of working or change in operating model, ideally supporting an IT/Tech function.
  • Skilled in building relationships with senior and technical stakeholders, whilst providing coaching and feedback on how best to communicate and engage with colleagues
  • Communications activation experience, building & delivering the comms calendar, events, engagement sessions, utilising yammer etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside thinking of new and innovative methods of communications

We’re adopting a hybrid approach with some office and some home working, on average 40-60% in the office. Your office location? This person will be UK based with our Head Office in Paddington, or we could explore the option of being based in one of our other retail banners head offices in Southampton or Yeovil.
