We’re recruiting for a Procurement Productivity Manager to join the GNFR Procurement team here at Kingfisher, based from Southampton or Paddington in the UK or Lille or Longpont in France.

As the Procurement Productivity Manager, you will analyse the GNFR spend by category and banner to compare and identify best practices across stores and head offices, looking to drive the adoption of category management tools within Group Procurement.

This role can be based in our Southampton, London, or French headoffices.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate the development of a category management centre of excellence and training across the team
  • Lead supplier analytics to enable project prioritisation and resource allocation to maximise value
  • Coordinate spend reviews between category and local procurement
  • Facilitate the production of qualitative reports relating to spend management coverage / pipeline / opportunities / priorities with support from analytics manager and heads of categories
  • Challenge / influence way of working across banners through rightsizing, make/buy, insource/outsource, nearshore/offshore analysis to drive savings
  • Optimise project portfolio and resource allocation for best demand and spend management

Skills & Experience:

  • Indirect procurement/category management experience within a large, global organisation
  • Experience working on a cost reduction programme within Procurement
  • Analytical skills to collect, extract and analyse procurement data to gather insights on spend productivity to influence category decisions
  • Be organised and efficient, with the ability to plan strategically and engage and influence at all levels
