As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Klarna has seen the benefits that remote working can have on their teams. This has resulted in Klarna implementing its global Flexible Working Policy in 2022. The model allows employees to decide where they want to work, whether this remotely, in the office or a combination of the two, taking into account preferences and individual differences to enable productivity and growth.
Despite this, Klarna still sees the importance of in-office meet-ups and therefore will facilitate monthly gatherings of in-person interaction for team building and creative problem-solving.
