We are looking for a talented Full-stack Developer to join our growing team. You'll be part of one of our product teams focused on building amazing new Cyber Security products. This could be a Cyber Security Skills Assessment, a Just-in-Time Labs Environment or a Cyber Education eCommerce Portal. 

About the role

You'll need have a passion for building secure, maintainable and scalable solutions. Plus, you'll be working closely with a Front-end Developer and Product Designer to define a front-end strategy for a product before moving on to build. You will be reporting to a Lead Developer who works across the product teams. 

Typical activities in your week may include: 

  • Making decisions on the architecture of our product, working hand-in-hand with the rest of the team. 
  • Defining and maintaining best practices while writing exceptional code. 
  • Deploying projects and supporting the Dev-ops process. 
  • Researching and implementing important security improvements.

About you 

  • You'll have 5+ years of experience working across the full-stack. We're looking for someone who can make well considered decisions on strategy and application architecture, as well as roll up their sleeves and write the code. 
  • You'll be happy writing high quality code. With experience using modern PHP frameworks. Plus a solid applied knowledge of HTML and CSS/SCSS.You will have experience building and maintaining distributed systems. With experience in application scaling and web sockets, ideally as well as working with AWS and Docker.  
  • You'll have a history of working with a core team to implement high quality products. With experience of writing unit tests, participating in code reviews and design discussions. 
  • You'll have a passion for performance and accessibility. We want our products to be usable by as many people as possible, which means being passionate about building fast, functional and highly accessible products is a must have. 
  • You'll be excited by our mission and keen to learn more about our culture. We are building a team that are relentlessly curious so we expect you to come to any interview armed with questions because we're more than happy to share.
