Description:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our team; The Centre of Excellence requires a dedicated member of staff to manage the daily running of critical remediation projects. You’ll hit the ground running, working on multiple projects, influencing key stakeholders and prioritising your workload to ensure you meet tight deadlines.

The Centre of Excellence is a specialised cross community capability who rapidly assimilate knowledge and build an understanding of emerging issues and incidents in order to effectively define the strategy and approach required to remediate impacted members.

What you’ll be doing

We’re looking for a self-starter who has prior programme management experience. You will be involved in the heartbeat of the remediation programme. Ensuring all governance targets are met and key milestones and controls in place. This will involve influencing senior stakeholders, providing insight and recommendations for project pathways. Applying continuous improvement measures to inflight initiatives, post programme / project reviews and directly into methodologies.

Owning the governance timeline and ensuring governance packs are of the highest quality to ensure clear audit trails are in place. You will be accountable for the project plans, risks and action logs.

Finally, you will create, maintain, use and adopt methodologies for delivery including traditional methods, agile methods, ACF, set-up-to-succeed.

About you

As a minimum requirement, you will have:

  • Prior PMO experience in a financial services institution.
  • Proven ability to work on different projects across multiple communities, multi-tasking and prioritising workload
  • Clearly able to show proven experience of project management and/or experience of delivering remediation or change programmes
  • Good business acumen and influencing skills and be able to articulate your ideas well both verbally and in writing, to key stakeholders
  • Understanding of change control standards and guardrails
  • Experience in demand, resource, financial and supplier management
