We’re looking for a self-motivated individual with office administration and customer service experience to join us as an Administrator and provide the support we need to help us deliver an effective local service.

About the team
Our Dorset Hub has a main office in Bournemouth with an additional office in Weymouth. We have been offering advice, support and guidance to people across Dorset since 2000. Our team is made up of legal specialists, community engagement workers, advice workers and we also have a DIY skills adviser who is able to offer practical support to people to improve their homes. It’s a thriving place to work and we’d love you to join the team.
About the role
You’ll provide a variety of administration support such as file maintenance, photocopying, typing and scanning, handling the mail etc. Working with our frontline staff, you will be the first point of contact for people contacting for appointments and will be responsible for answering the telephone and dealing with queries. You’ll also have responsibility for designing and developing office systems and processes, booking staff travel and accommodation, organising user involvement events and lots more besides. Helping front line staff with case administration, assisting the Manager and Solicitor with ad hoc projects and seeing that our office equipment is properly maintained – all are aspects of this interesting, varied and vital role.

With proven office administration and customer service experience, you’ll be a confident user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Someone who thrives in a fast paced and busy office environment, you have a flexible approach, are adaptable to change and enjoy learning new skills.
