Requirements

The role

As Vestd continues to grow and take a bigger stake in the share scheme market, we are looking to strengthen our service from the first point of contact with future clients. Taking a proactive and creative approach to ignite interest and connect through online and in person early engagement opportunities, along with bringing lapsed customers back into re-engagement.

You will be supporting our equity consultants through research and deeper understanding of our customers, working alongside a talented team to evolve their approach and ensure that each interaction is bespoke and uniquely tailored to the inquiring company. Strong emotional intelligence would help you identify where a customer might be particularly well suited to one of our equity consultants.

With an appetite to get beneath the surface of a business through your own investigation, you will be confident in designing a process and style to communicate your research back to the team and Head of Business Development. As our Sales Development Representative, you will also be enthusiastic about finding valuable trends, insights and data, which will inform our marketing and sales teams to continually improve their strategy in generating and supporting leads.

Responsibilities

  • Being ahead of the curve, but sourcing new and exciting business opportunities.
  • Being the first point of contact by creating meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and equity consultants.
  • Sharing research and development opportunities back to the Head of BD, with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to align with business aims. 
  • Creatively generate early engagement opportunities which capture, inform and educate leads about Vestd, re-engaging with our contact database to reignite interest and opportunities. 
  • Being tech-minded, you will maximise on what you can achieve through a multichannel approach (emails, Linkedin messages, calls etc.) whilst taking an intelligent and proven approach to utilising sequence and automation best practice.
  • You will use marketing content to engage and interact with our prospects.

The core skills we are looking for are as follows, with bonus points on offer to help you really stand out from the pack:

Essential

  • Experience from another SDR role within a start-up or recruitment environment
  • Using various channels (LinkedIn, Email, Video and Call) to effectively and engage with prospects
  • An ability to stylistically cut through the noise from competition on channels. 
  • Experience in qualifying prospects and handing over opportunities to BDM
  • Strong emotional intelligence and relationship building to develop rapport and credibility with senior executives.
  • Constantly looking to develop, learn and grow
  • Able to analyse complex issues and provide practical and creative solutions. 
  • Positive attitude
