The Senior Digital Analyst leads the process of delivering insights to senior and executive internal stakeholders regarding consumption and engagement trends of VMG content on our distribution channels.
This role is also integral to our development of authenticated data deriving from our developing e-commerce, direct-to-consumer and consumer products businesses. The role will be partially responsible for developing customer journey’s and profiles to inform product strategy.
This critical role requires a self-starter who is comfortable being autonomous, prioritizing their own workload and forging relationships with internal stakeholders while effectively communicating project timelines and results to the global team of analysts.
What you'll do:
Support internal teams to monitor salient audience consumption trends across owned site content, social channels, and other off platform content distribution
You’ll be the technical lead in the organization of our CDP (customer data platform) for use by product, editorial and commercial teams
Operationalize that data to inform: New products, VMG marketing, publishing and advertising / monetization.
Create visually effective dashboards and reports to support data transparency
Perform manipulations to prepare data for high-impact dashboards and analyses
Perform statistically sound analyses to identify opportunities for incremental scale, engagement, and / or revenue
Lead proactive and reactive impact analyses as they relate to internal and external environmental shifts
Build consistent feedback loops between our audience and content creators and channel managers
Support data democratization through answering ad hoc requests from teams across the organization
What you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, or other quantitative field, or 3-4 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, growing digital company
Experience using Snowflake, YouTube Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Google Analytics, Domo, SQL, and/or R is a plus
Knowledge of Excel plus fluency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Ability to digest complicated data and synthesize it in a way that drives action
Must thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and possess a strong ability to adapt, multi-task and manage multiple deadlines at once
Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
