About the role 💡

The Communications Manager will work in the Marketing Department and will report to Head of Brand & Comms, working very closely with the Leadership Team on all things comms. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing our communications strategy and educating the public about our vision. We are ideally looking for someone who is well versed in modern day public and internal communications with a good understanding of the social & public media landscape, content & influencer marketing.

What you'll do 💼

    • Create and maintain a favorable public image in the market, with ecosystem and community, contribute to the brand awareness via storytelling
    • Create our own content, create our own distribution and organic audience, leveraging our company leaders’ personal brand(s)
    • Collaborate with company leaders to develop and implement an effective content, community and public relations and communications strategy based on our objectives & target audience
    • Write edit and distribute content, including publications, press releases and blog posts which position Voicemod’s activities and services with B2B audiences (Gaming, Social Comms, Tech, etc.)
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with influencers, content creators and journalists in order to build Voicemod’s distribution network
    • Respond to inquiries, arrange interviews and act as spokesperson of our company and personal “Founder/Leaders” brands towards international content creators and media
    • Identify and pursue opportunities and story angles to drive forward the recognition and perception of our brand with content creators, influencers, in the media and among our audience
    • Maintain records of public and social media coverage and collate analytics and metrics
    • Working with other marketing disciplines to develop 360 integrated campaigns
    • Manage conflict and crisis situations and work towards resolution together with management
    • Be a trusted partner to Voicemod’s leadership team
    • Create and leverage media placements by leveraging “Founders/Leaders” brand and make sure piece of content gets distributed to the max with target audience
    • Running integrated content and community marketing campaigns targeting the b2b and ecosystem across markets, ensuring delivery against campaign objectives and metrics; and consistent quality of work

What you'll need ✅

    • Bachelor's degree in Media/Journalism, Digital Marketing, or Communications (preferred but not required)
    • 3+ years of experience in Communications, Editorial, or Social Media Content Marketing
    • Strong content writing skills, including the ability to create and amplify content on social media channels and across a variety of media outlets
    • Experience in the Gaming, Creator Economy, Audio, and/or Tech industries
    • Execution and results focused, with the ability to prioritize workload
    • Established network of influencer and content creator contacts in the video game and tech industry
    • Demonstrated ability to use social media analytics and SEO tools to track and measure impact, as well as identify story opportunities
    • Ability to take ownership and drive strategic initiatives independently
    • Experience handling crisis situations in the community and expertise in ethics
    • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Our interview process takes place on Google Meet and tends to consist of the following stages:

1️⃣ TA Team - Validate details, experience and tell you more about Voicemod (30min).

2️⃣ Hiring Manager - Give you a job overview and go deeper on your professional experience (60min).

3️⃣ Technical Interview - We’ll go deeper on your technical skills (60min).

4️⃣ Final Interview - Last conversation focused on soft skills and ways of working (60min).
