About the role 💡
The Developer Relations is an interdisciplinary role that sits in a border space between product, engineering, and marketing. Working within the Partner Products team, you will champion the needs of 3rd party developers in the development of social audio (visual) experience products and services. You will support a vibrant ecosystem of 3rd party developers, by being the voice to those developers and the interface between them and Voicemod’s product, engineering, and design teams.
Your job is to inspire and equip 3rd party developers to build the next generation of social audio (visual) experiences within their applications enabling their users to leverage Sonic Identities and Expressions. This means understanding what they are trying to do, pointing them to tools, documentation and training and generally helping them be successful. You’re not just advocating for the platform, but advocating for developers powering audio expression. With this mindset, developer relations plays an active role in feeding back real-world bugs and feature requests, and building supporting tools and documentation to improve the developer experience.
Research has shown that women are less likely than men to apply for this role if they do not have solid experience in 100% of these areas. Please know that this list is indicative and that we would still love to hear from you even if you feel you only are a 75% match. Skills can be learnt, diversity cannot.
We promote a diverse and inclusive culture at Voicemod.
