Description:

Yell is looking for a Brand Manager to lead on all elements of brand identity and activation for Yell.

Yell is a leading marketplace connecting local businesses with consumers and has significant reach in the UK. Yell is on an exciting growth journey in building a marketplace and is looking for support to further propel the brand.

As the brand guardian, the Brand Manager will lead the wider cross functional team across product, digital, media and PR to drive brand growth. Responsible for creating and building the brand image of Yell and its marketplace to both B2B and B2C audiences to drive awareness, consideration, usage and engagement.

Yell is looking for a dynamic, flexible, and eager individual wanting to be part of building a marketplace within a fast-paced organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing a unique and relevant positioning aligned to our right to play based on brand heritage and position within competitive landscape
  • Own the brand guidelines, driving the development of a unique look and feel, tone of voice and suite of brand assets
  • Ensure all marcomms, advertising, pr, social media, website and digital channel marketing is aligned to brand strategy and core positioning
  • Drive necessary external market research, customer panel insight and deep understanding of brand analytics and associated performance
  • Be the champion and guardian of Yell marketplace, both internally and externally
  • Keep up-to-date with latest trends to find creative opportunities across paid, earned and owned channels
  • Continually review performance against KPIs, monitoring ROI to further optimise plans.
  • Manage brand calendar and co-ordinate cross-functional project execution
  • This role will report into Head of Brand and Marcomms, with a dotted line into Head of Marketing and Partnerships Yell BU.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of prior experience working in brand management
  • Experience with marketing to both B2B & B2C audiences
  • Experience of executing across all marketing channels
  • Good understanding of digital best practices
  • Highly skilled at driving change across a matrix organisation
  • Ability to project manage across teams and external agencies
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience within an E-commerce/ Marketplace business highly desirable
